2022 Ford Ranger

The 2022 Ford Ranger comes in three unique trim levels: XL, XLT, and Lariat. You can get this truck as an extended cab, known as the SuperCab, which features a 6-foot bed, or as a crew cab, known as the SuperCrew, which comes with a 5-foot bed and four full-size doors with extended back seat space and seating for five. While the base XL has 16-inch steel wheels, the XLT sits on 17-inch alloy wheels. You also get LED headlights with the Lariat trim level. For further customization, upgrade to the XLT, which gives you the option of a sport, chrome, or black exterior appearance package.

Every Ford Ranger features a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is paired standard with rear-wheel drive in all trims, but you can upgrade to a four-wheel drive. A four-wheel-drive system is optimal for off-roading since it provides greater traction for rough terrain.

You can opt to include the Ford Ranger Terrain Management System, which allows you to customize your driving control from four selectable modes: Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts, and Sand.

When you step inside the latest Ford Ranger, you're met with many high-tech amenities. Starting with the base XL, enjoy a Wi-Fi hot spot and four-speaker sound system. The XLT features an 8-inch touch screen and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
